Down tube shifters for an 8 speed rear cassette. The left/front shift lever will work with either double or triple cranks. These bolt right onto the cable stop bosses (formerly the shifter bosses) on the down tube of most bikes. They also happen to work with Paul Thumbies for a top mount thumb shifter setup if you are using a flat or swept-back bar. The right/rear shifter is indexed to 8-speed and is silky smooth. The left/front lever is friction with a micro-ratchet feel. Excuse me while I go change my touring bike to 8-speed.
