Shimano Ultegra 8-Speed Bar End Shift Levers

 

The Bar End shifter is a simple, durable and easy to use solution for gear shifting. The 8 speed, right shifter will only work with an 8 speed cogset but when switched to friction only mode (with a simple twist of a wingnut) will work with almost any rear cogset. Also made in a 9-speed version.

If the rear derailleur or hanger gets bent or if the adjustment gets out of whack the indexing will not work so well. In that case, shifting to friction mode will get you to the next bike shop. No moving parts inside means these shifters are reliable on even the toughest excursions.

These will not fit in all handlebars so if you are not sure, call us before ordering.
