Ritchey Beacon XL Handlebar

$53.95 - $109.95

Product Overview

Ideal for adventure touring and bikepacking, on asphalt or gravel trails - or even for urban riding - the unique Beacon XL brings a whole new measurement of comfort and control.

In addition to its super-wide 36° drop flare, its most notable feature is its 52cm width. The comfort and stability afforded by this dramatic flare and extra width allows for plenty of space for handlebar packs.

When riding in the drops, the Beacon doubles down on comfort with a very shallow 80mm drop and a shorter than usual reach. The top section offers broad support for your hands, and it has a gentle backward sweep for a more natural hand position when riding the tops.

These bars are both comfortable and practical. The Beacon allows an easy transition of the hands around the bar without upsetting bike handling when loaded with gear on the bar.

***The difference between the WCS and Comp is specifically material, texture and weight.  The Comp is double-butted 6061 alloy and weighs 325g. The WCS is smoother, resembling a carbon bar and made of triple-butted 7050 alloy and weighs 295g.
