If you have a silicone-nylon tent, seam sealing is neccesary. Whether sealing your silnylon tent for the first time or treating pinhole repairs and small tears, silicone specific sealant is a must. A little goes a long way, with this 1.5oz tube sealing up to 24ft of seams. A lot of other gear is silicone treated as well, like ultralight backpacks and nylon tarps, offering more uses for this affordable and reliable sealant.
