We've got a deal for you! This forest green beast of burden has been BTN's shop truck since 2020. It has hauled many a load of packages to the post office and been daily transportation for much of that time. It has since been replaced by the updated Big Easy 2.0 and is ready for a new home. Yep, it's got miles on it. Over 9,000 of them. However, those have all been nearly flat city miles around Boise and the bike has been well maintained throughout. The drive unit is as smooth and quiet as the day it came out of the box. The bike has been fully serviced and all worn components have been replaced. Integrated lighting, fenders and upgraded tires mean it's ready to go no matter the time or season. It even comes with brand new Dummy Bags cause you definitely don't want our ratty old ones!
Surly's 3-year warranty has lapsed but the buyer can still rely on BTN's service and support for as long as they own it, same as we'd provide to the buyer of a brand new bike.
Basically, this is a fully equipped, bad-to-the-bone longtail cargo hauler with a bonus 600 watts of juice so you can feel like a superhero even when you're totin a heavy load! All that for $1200 less than a new Big Easy with none of the upgrades. This would have been a $5800 bike brand new but can be yours for $3995. Interested? - MY2020 Surly Big Easy, Deep Forest Green, Medium (Fit is highly adaptable and should be no problem for folks between 5"5" and 6'0")
- Integrated lighting: Schmidt Edelux II DC headlight, Lezyne SuperBright taillight
- SKS P65 Fenders
- Schwalbe Pick-Up cargo-specific tires (~4000 miles but in excellent condition. Never flatted.)
- Wolf Tooth dropper lever w/brake lever integration
- New Tranz-X dropper post and WTB Volt saddle
- New Dummy Bags
- New KMC E11 chain
- Uncut steerer tube
