Made in the USA by Revelate Designs, this line of bags is size-specific for Surly's Cross-Check and Straggler. We've found they also fit well on most other Surly models with a horizontal top tube such as the 700c Long Haul/Disc Trucker (fit will be less than ideal on 26" wheeled bikes), Pack Rat, Midnight Special, etc. All of these models have very large front triangles, so why not make the most of all that space!?
The Straggle-Check bags have a horizontal velcro divider that separates the main compartment into top and bottom halves, each accessed by a separate zip. Utilize the maximum volume of the bag by opening the divider or create two separate pockets to keep your gear organized and prevent the bag from bulging. The slim left-side pocket is perfect for flattish objects that you want close to hand such as phone, wallet, compact camera, snacks, maps, etc.
New for 2017, these bags feature Revelate's exclusive Zipstretch™ construction: a bomber, #10 molded-tooth zipper paired with stretch Cordura panels above and below to significantly reduce zipper stress when opening or closing the bag. The molded tooth zipper shrugs off the dirt and debris that would destroy a coil-type zipper and will deliver many years of reliable, maintenance free service. Frame attachment loops on the downtube, seat tube and front of top tube panels are on daisy chains of webbing, allowing for precise strap placement around braze-ons, cable routing, other bag straps, etc.

- NOTE: Frame bags will wear your frame's finish through repetitive rubbing as the bike is ridden. This wear can be minimized by using Revelate's silicone Frame Saver Tape in high-abrasion areas.
