Surly Bikes' Dirt Wizard tire - named after a song by Red Fang - is focused on providing traction and control on surfaces where neither is to be found. The new rubber compound yields higher durability and higher performance. A nylon breaker adds sidewall protection for yet more durability. The inflated diameter is close to 29" and the 2.8" width provides even better cushion and traction than narrower tires.
