Product Overview
The Shogun is a solid performer for any subsurface fishing. The short flourocarbon tip section "hooks" the water, helping prevent line sag and provide a natural drift. The brightly-colored indicator section aids strike detection. The Shogun has enough mass to handle heavy beadhead flies while still casting weightless patterns with delicacy.
About the only thing this line doesn't do well is fish dry flies. Get the Katana or use Level Line. Want to get your fly deeper, faster? Try the Oudachi.
