Product Overview

The Wednesday is Surly’s most versatile fatbike, stuffing loads of capability into a less hefty package than the Ice Cream Truck. 4” tires on 80mm rims still provide loads of cushion and floatation but without the playground ball feel of larger tires, especially when the terrain gets firmer. It’ll handle all but the softest winter terrain, eats up unmaintained rocky/sandy/rutted surfaces and is also a year-round trail bike for lots of riders.

This particular bike was a factory build with some upgrades for the BTN demo fleet. The 45NRTH VanHelga tires add a bit of volume and smoother rolling compared to the stock Surly Nates. We replaced the basic Tektro mineral oil hydraulics with Avid BB7 S mechanical brakes for more reliable cold weather performance and improved adjustment range. The cranks were also upgraded to NX DUB from SX PowerSpline. It has been ridden only occasionally for only around 250 miles - and 95% of those on snow. Every component is in great shape and ready for action.

A stock Wednesday currently sells for $1,849. We’re offering this one for $900. That’s a super deal!

The medium frame fits riders from around 5’6” up to 5’10”. Fit is consistent across Surly’s trail models, so if you fit well on a medium Karate Monkey, Krampus or Ice Cream Truck you’ll feel right at home on the Wednesday.
