Yokozuna's Motoko brakes have quickly become one of our top recommendations for customers' builds and a favorite on our personal bikes. They blend the power of a 2-piston hydraulic caliper with cable actuation for easy setup and flexibility. No fussing around with hydraulic hoses and no bleeding required. With high-quality compressionless housing (like the included Yokozuna Reaction) the lever feel is excellent and the power is as good or better than many hydro systems. If you've got an off-road bike with post mount brake attachments and long-pull brake levers, these are a very worthy option for your build or upgrade.
We're offering these as a pair. Here's what comes in the package:
- Yokozuna Motoko 2-piston post-mount brake calipers, front and rear, long pull, black
- Yokozuna Reaction compressionless brake housing, Stainless cables for drop bar and flat bar levers included
- NOT INCLUDED: Rotors, brake adaptors, mounting hardware
Compatibility Notes:
- Calipers are compatible with frames/forks with post mount or IS mount caliper attachment. You'll need to select and purchase the correct brake adaptors for your frame/fork and chosen rotor diameter.
- Long-pull mechanical brake levers are required.
