This is a great replacement shifter set for an old mountain bike or a flat-bar conversion on a bike with downtube, bar-end or stem-mounted friction shifters. Simple, economical and low-maintenance, these shifters will work great with most any derailleur that uses a 2:1 pull ratio. NOT ideal for use with Sram's 1:1 systems. They'll work best with 2 or 3 chainrings and 8 or fewer rear cogs. Just need a single shifter? We have them singly here. A set of cables and housing to fit most bikes is included.
