Product Overview
These are the original, tried and true Voilé straps - indispensable gear for bike travel with about a million applications. They're made in Utah, USA and are perfect for strapping just about anything to just about anything. The stretch and grip provided by the polyurethane strap material makes these a much more secure, slip-free option compared to the standard nylon webbing straps that are standard with Salsa's Anything Cage and many other pieces of gear. Even if you don't plan on using them, it is worth packing a couple of these highly versatile straps on your next trip. You never know when you might need to do some strappin'!
For our BTN-branded straps, we chose the super-tough nylon buckle that is just as strong as aluminum but is non-marring, non-reflective and non-conductive. Current color/length options are 25" straps in blue, 20" straps in black and 12" straps in orange. They all feature the BTN hexagon logo with a pine tree motif, making them a good match for our Tent & Trees Water Bottles. We'll keep rotating straps in other colors, lengths and graphics, so let us know what you want to see next! *We have borrowed some stock photos from Voilé, but all straps come with the BTN logo.
The smallest length, 12" straps work great for holding fly or tenkara rod tubes, tent poles and your smaller packable items. The medium 20" length is ideal for bags, water bottles, or other objects up to around 6" diameter that you'd attach to a cargo cage like the Anything Cage, Anything Cage HD or King Cage Many Things Cage. The longer 25" length is great for strapping a larger drybag to a rack deck or cargo cage. They will wrap items up to 8" or so in diameter, making them plenty long enough to strap larger gear to the deck of a rack. Of course, multiple straps can be connected if you need more length. The tail of the strap can easily be tucked under when securing smaller items. You'll be amazed at all the uses you find for these!
