Velo Orange Grand Cru Seat Post, long set back

Brooks Saddles haven't changed their design since basically the beginning of time, not so with bicycle manufacturers. With the steeper seat tube angles on some bicycles it may be difficult to get the desired saddle setback with a Brooks due to the short rail clamping area. The VO Grand Cru Seat Post saves the day.  The long setback and the two bolt adjustment makes this the perfect seat post to use with your leather saddle or any saddle with rail adjustment limits.  Micro adjustments to the tilt of the saddle can be made with ease plus the long set back helps position a saddle further back than many seat posts.

These polished two bolt seat posts have a generous 30.2mm of setback, among the longest ever. Again, this is very important for those who ride Brooks saddles which have very little fore-and-aft adjustment due to the short rails.
The VO posts are internally ovalized to reduce weight to 290gms. The adjustment is from the bottom and the two bolt design makes it easy to precisely adjust the seat angle. Also note that the head is integral with the post, not pressed on as on many modern posts. This makes them stronger and lighter. The quality and finish is second to none. These are really beautiful.
